My BookingLife: Joe Beck – Support Engineer
Joe joined our team as a Support Engineer in May 2019. If you use BookingLive to manage your online bookings, it’s very likely you’ve spoken to Joe. He’ll be your go-to for any technical or support queries. He is an avid table tennis champion within the office, and brings huge value to the team. Let’s find out a little bit about him!
What was your first job?
“I worked at Laser Quest!”
What advice would you give someone looking to move into your role?
“Give it time, learning a new system takes time and patience, don’t beat yourself up if it takes a while.”
What’s your favourite part of the job?
“Feeling like an expert at something.”
What’s something you find challenging about your work?
“Being able to leave it in someone else’s hands. As my role is (at the moment) a small team, it’s hard to leave it or “switch off” when I’m on holiday.”
What made you want to work at BookingLive?
“Having worked at a huge corporate for 10 years prior I wanted to be part of something fast-growing scaling and have a big impact.”
