Displaying Vouchers

In this section, learn how best to display your Activity/Cash Vouchers.

The best method of displaying your is by creating one TABBED PAGE to show all your different vouchers that you have available, or create one page for each type of vouchers, e.g. cash vouchers, and activity vouchers.

See below for instructions on how to go about displaying your vouchers on a TABBED PAGE:

  1. Make sure you have already created your vouchers and they are in clearly segmented in defined categories, e.g. Cash Vouchers, Activity Vouchers, Gift Agents, etc.
If you haven't done so already, then click here, to learn how to do this.
  2. Create a TABBED PAGE to hold your vouchers - CONTENT > PAGES > CREATE > TABBED PAGE > GO.
  3. Also make sure you have created tabbed pages for each of the vouchers that you want to display on the website (see image below).
  4. Add the LIST ITEM widget to display your vouchers - TABBED PAGE > TABS > add LIST ITEM widget.
  5. Make sure to choose the EXTRA option from the ITEM TYPE and SHOW RESULTS FROM - depending upon where your extras are linked to their page e.g. SiteTreeSubPages (childpages of where the widget is added), WholeSiteTree (spread out over site), etc.
  6. Add another LIST ITEM (Extra) if you want to display more than one group of vouchers (separately) on the same page - and create more ChildPages linked to an extra.
  7. If you want to display extra categorys on separate pages (as seen below) - repeat steps 2-5 on a new tabbed page.

Note: If you don't create and link pages to an extra - the extra's will not display on the published site.

Step 3 - pages are created and linked to their extra (the below is an example of SiteTreeSubPages setup).

Step 4 -  Add the LIST ITEM (Extra's) to display your vouchers.
