Hire Types are the products/treatments/sessions that you are selling at your Venues.
Typically, you would use Hire Types if your sessions run no longer than a day. If you're activity/courses can span over several days, then you can either set these up as Hire Types e.g. "Day 1 - Spa Day, Day 2 - Physiotherapy Sessions", or you may be better suited to the BookingLive's Activity System.
Note: If you intend to group your Hire Types by Category e.g. Massage, Pool Sessions, Training Session, etc - please setup HIRE TYPE CATEGORY first. For instructions on how to do this, click here.
How to setup a Hire Type
- Go to ADMIN > DATA > HIRE TYPE
- Click CREATE HIRE TYPE
- Enter the NAME of the item, and if you would like to group your items by Category - select a category from the dropdown under NAME.
- Click ADD.
- If you have more than one Hire Type, then please follow steps 2-4 again until all are added.
