Overview

Learn how to integrate your booking software with Salesforce CRM to automatically create new customers (or update existing ones) in Salesforce when a booking is completed. 

When enabled, a new contact is created in Salesforce after a booking is made along with a note that includes the booking details. The title of the note is the booking reference.

 

How to Setup Salesforce CRM

  1. Login to your BookingLive account
  2. Navigate to ADMIN > CONFIG SETTINGS > COMPANY INFO
  3. Click the configuration items tab
  4. Enter the 6 configuration settings into your BookingLive system as below.

To test your setup, complete a booking and you should see the new data appear in Salesforce.

These 2 config variables determine what data object type within salesforce are used:
SalesForceRecordTypeNames

type: CSV

default: GeneralPublic,General_Public

CSV With two values, e.g: DevName,DisplayName. DevName must be unique used to link to the object type to write the purchaser

SalesForceContactRecordTypeByGroup type: CSV
Whether the record type used when a Customer is added can be set for the group
